JSLI Master Classes

About JSLI Master Classes

JSLI Master Classes are unique, online classes on specific Jewish topics – all led by guest rabbis or experts in their field. They are very worthwhile “continuing education” classes for Rabbinical School students who would like to know more about various Jewish subjects. While the Master Classes aren’t obligatory for Rabbinical School students, they are certainly highly recommended.

The classes are free and only available to Rabbinical School students and alumni.

The classes are held on an ad-hoc basis during the spring and fall semesters of our Rabbinical School Program. When we have any upcoming classes, they will be listed below on this page. If you would like to participate in any of the courses below, please fill in the contact form or call us on (201) 338-0165.

What to expect at a JSLI Master Class

Our guest lecturers have different ways of teaching their class; some prefer to have a lecture-based class and others like to have more participation from students. If you’d like to know more about the format of a class you’re interested in, you can use the contact form or (201) 338-0165.

Each Master Class lasts between 60 and 90 minutes.
