One of JSLI’s own joins congregation as Assistant Rabbi in Calgary, Canada

Beth Tzedec Congregation is thrilled to announce the appointment of Rabbi Ilana Krygier Lapides as the new Assistant Rabbi. Rabbi Ilana will be active in all aspects of Synagogue life including leading Family Services for the High Holidays and the B’nai Mitzvah program. Rabbi Ilana has the distinction to be Beth Tzedec’s first female clergy and is the first home-grown Calgarian to act as a Rabbi in her city of origin.
